Washtenaw Dairy has been in Ann Arbor for over 50 years and located in Ann Arbor's Old West Side. It's just a few blocks from our Airbnb and definitely worth a visit for some local flavor!
Great donuts and huge servings sizes of delicious icecream. Recently cleebrated 85th Anniversay!
Washtenaw Dairy is where the locals go for amazing ice cream and homemade donuts! I frequently buy donuts for my guests from here. A quaint Ann Arbor piece of history!
Hometown, ice cream shop hidden in the middle of an established neighborhood on "The Old Westside" in the heart of Ann Arbor. Favorite spot for locals after a summer baseball game with plenty of shady trees nearby to relax under and enjoy your favorite ice cream flavor.
This iconic dairy has some of the largest ice cream cones you'll ever experience. Lines out the door, kids just back from a summer baseball game. If you are an early bird, this places has the best donuts in town - hands-down.
“Great farmers market with locally sourced products, and unique shopping in Kerry town shops next door.”

“Vintage bookstore that is often more of an experience than a shopping trip. A delight around every corner. Not your typical bookstore. And HUGE! You could spend hours exploring. Leave breadcrumbs to navigate your way back out of the labyrinthine layout.”
“This is the best ice cream we have EVER had. When we moved to California for a year we searched for something comparable and never found it. And it happens to be 1/2 mile down the road :) Suggestion: garden mint or basil in a waffle cone.”
