Legazpi Sunday Market
While this is just a small market compared to bigger farmers market in the world, in Makati its a pretty good choice since you can shop for locally made products , mostly organic and definitely hand made. There is so much food option here as well with all the different stalls with various cuisines.
On Sunday's head out to Legazpi Village for another farmer's market, this time with more souvenirs
Held every Sunday, residents, expats, and tourists alike flock to this Sunday Market for a variety of cuisines. From early morning until 12 PM if I'm not mistaken.
“Artisal produce, fresh meat and vegetables, local items are on offer at this vibrant community market. Jaime C. Velasquez Park, Salcedo Village, Makati”
“It is a small compound in the bustling Makati, where Filipinos can get a taste of authentic Japanese food without having to leave the country. There are 13 restaurants offering delicious servings of Japanese food that are close to the real thing. Each has an extensive menu and their own specialty”
“Looking for some pampering with a relaxing massage or a body scrub? Check out the Spa at Greenbelt 1. Deluxe massage in a common room at P820, executive private room at P950. Call to reserve 840-1325.”
“Right next to Legaspi Active Park, it is a small park where you can sit in a bench and relax, have a little picnic, people watch”
“Greenbelt is a premier fashion and lifestyle center, featuring choice restaurants with top chefs and seasoned restaurateurs; a distinct mix of international luxury and high-street fashion brands, as well as the best of Filipino fashion and home designers. At the center of its five wings lies a beautifully-landscaped oasis that features a lagoon, zen garden pockets, a koi pond, a church, and proudly Filipino sculptures. Aside from the high-end boutiques and shops, Greenbelt features a chapel inside the complex, Sto. Niño de Paz. It’s a concrete dome in the middle of the pond. The chapel holds masses and religious services daily for mall patrons and office workers working nearby. Every third Sunday of January, it celebrates its titular feast day. Opened in 1988, this luxury mall in Makati City is one of the flagship projects of Ayala Land.”
