Right on the west side of the Grand River on the west side of GR. Fairly easy walk downhill from our Airbnb. The museum has 3 floors of history in an ex-flour mill plus exhibits, a 1928 working carousel & planetarium.

The Grand Rapids Public Museum rises three stories above the downtown riverfront. Inside, a fascinating panorama of permanent collections and temporary exhibits preserve the treasures of the past and the present. Great spot for kids but interesting enough for adults too.

The Museum is so interesting! They change their exhibits constantly, so there is always something new to see. Great for kids and adults. There is a planetarium to look at stars, a carousel for the little ones, and incredible history for the adults. I would also say this is a great place for a…
