From the outside, there's nothing extraordinary about this Mission district restaurant, but the moment you walk inside, it’s like, "Where am I?" It just screams romance. It's sensual, hip, and it feels like you're in your own little zone. The food is decadent, and every little detail feels like an aphrodisiac. If you can, get a table on the patio. The lights strung overhead and the classic movie playing silently on one wall create a vibe that’s so romantic.
Beautiful restaurant with outdoor space screening classic films. Food is good too.
Californian-Mediterranean fare (& a popular brunch) in an outdoor space screening films. High-end and pricey, but delicious and very popular. Reservations are a must.
Another one of my absolute favorites. This one is a bit more upscale, but worth the price. Be sure to reserve in advance.
“Millennials love to stand in lines. Go mid-morning on weekdays to avoid long lines. But, the food is well worth it! Riches beyond your wildest dreams: butter-golden pains au chocolat, cappuccinos with ferns drawn in dense foam and croque monsieurs turbo-loaded with ham, two kinds of cheese and béchamel. Don't be dismayed by the inevitable line out the door – it moves fast – but be aware that lolling in Dolores Park is the only possible post-Tartine activity.”
“Delicious California fare and pizza for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Great cocktails + outdoor seating!”
“Southern Indian food. Try the dosas, light airy crisp crepes filled with deliciousness!”
“Well known pasta restaurant with hand made, fresh pasta. Will likely need a reservation.”
