Has a lot of local produce and products; all organic, vegetarian, with gluten-free options. Also sells crafts, yarn, plants, crystals, etc. Great little grocery.

The market is where we go for organic, gluten-free, vegetarian, and other specialty ingredients. They have a little produce, ice cream, local cheeses and farm-fresh eggs. We are totally addicted to the little bags of dried mango they sell! Mooney’s Market M-S 10 AM - 6 PM The Crescent Cafe is a little vegetarian/vegan spot--basically a food truck--run out of a little camper in the back. Yummy smoothies and usually a salad and a wrap/sandwich on the daily menu. (Tip: it can take a bit for them to get your food--I will stop and order my wrap on my way to do an errand in Monteagle, and then pick it up in 15 min when I’m done. If the weather is nice, there are some sweet little tables in the shade where you can just wait with a book.) Crescent Cafe 11 AM-3 PM
