First established in February of 2011 by a group of local residents, the Greenport Farmers’ Market aims to create a place to educate, connect and support communities, agriculture and aquaculture. The goals of the Greenport Farmers’ Market are to: SUPPORT regional sustainable producers, by providing them with direct access to consumers. EDUCATE the public to the nutritional and economic benefits of buying locally grown food directly from farmers. UNITE farmers, fishermen and communities. The market is held every Saturday from 9am to 1pm in the lot located at South and 2nd Street in the Village.

This is a farmers market inside the old Ice House @ 414 First Street. Easily walkable from 744 Main Street. Just follow 1st street and you will run into the market on your right. Open Friday and Saturdays. You can buy fresh local fish, veggies, wine and bread from this market. www.greenportfarmersmarket.com
