Right in your own backyard! Well, your temporary backyard, that is. Our family loves hiking this nearby open space. The hills are great for the legs, the trails are well used and in great condition, there are several ways around this group of hills. If you take the long way around the west side of the park, you'll come across a cave....if you pay attention! A moderate hike gets you to the "top" of the park and a nice pond. This area was once a large cattle ranch with many places used to water the livestock. Now, it's ours to enjoy!

A great park up in Fairfield (20-25 minute drive from our front door) with lots of hills, trails and hiking/biking opportunities. They are dog friendly so feel free to bring your canine companion.
