“Church of Saint Nicholas was built in the 14th century. This renaissance style building is one of the most interesting tourist sites in Cavtat. Baroque style interior is decorated with a number of valuable artworks; some of it even dates back to 17th century. One of the most important paintings is Saint Nicholas with Virgin Mary overlooking the bay of Cavtat, and the painting of 4 evangelists that was painted by Vlaho Bukovac.”
