A must see especially during the summer! Gain 8000 ft in elevation in less than an hour and hang out in temps 30 degrees cooler than the desert floor. Summerhaven is a great little town at the top with shops and restaurants.

A great way to spend a day in the deserts of Arizona is to have a picnic, go fishing, or take a hike on Mt. Lemmon. Don't forget to stop by the Cookie Cabin for a slice of Pizza or a fresh baked, large cookie.

If you're looking to cool off a little, do some hiking or biking, or just go on a scenic drive, Mt. Lemmon is well worth your time! Go all the way to Summerhaven for unique dining and gift shops, or head to the ski resort to ride the lift year round or visit the Iron Door, a German-style eatery.
