Small, bustling French restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lively atmosphere and great patio in the back. No reservations are accepted so you may wait in line depending on time of day. Worth it though!
Great breakfast and brunch place. Ask to be seated in the outdoor patio. This place is located in the Cole Valley neighborhood and there are a lot of cute shops to browse. It’s also near the Haight Ashbury district.
Famous Brunch Spot. There will be a wait on the weekend, so be prepared. Finnegan's Wake might be open to help you hydrate while you wait.
One of the best brunch restaurants in the city hands down. I would recommend NOT coming on a weekend (the wait can be as long as 2 hours), but heading there for breakfast during the week. Take a look at their specials menu, but really you cannot go wrong when ordering here. If can only make it on…
“One of my favorite neighborhood spots. Either go for dinner and a cocktail during the week (their tacos and margaritas as not to miss) or come for their amazing brunch on Saturday or Sunday! Their duck hash and cornmeal pancakes are perfect to share with a friend. ”
“Great atmosphere that is reminiscent of a French Cafe. Amazing coffee, pastries, and sandwiches. Great for breakfast and lunch. ”
“Cute neighborhood cafe serving excellent coffee and quite an array of baked goods as well as lunch/dinner items cooked to order using fresh ingredients. Hang out in the lovely patio in the back on a sunny day.”
“Classic old-fashioned ice cream parlor. Sooooo good. My favorite flavor is milk chocolate.”
“A great place to get amazing cheese and wine, but something only the locals know is that they have the MOST AMAZING sandwich bar! Go pick up a sandwich (you cannot go wrong) and take it over to Golden Gate Park for a little picnic. ”
