Place to eat
Street Market during the weekend; great cafes and restaurants; renowned Portuguese patisserie Lisboa; and a lot more...
Pizza east is a great pizza resturant, lots of lovely shops and bluebells cafe is nice for lunch. Really good place to go to escape the busy notting hill market as it is right at the end of the portobello road. The 52 or 452 bus takes you to ladbroke grove station and it is a short walk from there…
Why go to Portugal when you can go to Golborne. 10 minuets up the street. This is a real old fashioned London street market, with a heavy Portuguese influence. But be quick it is changing fast. It is then also possible to walk along the GU Canal to Little Venice.
For me, these are some of the best shops in the area – lots of interior design shops and vintage clothes are always a real treat to window shop in.
“Italian with stripped interiors, serving antipasti and rustic pizza and mains. Good idea to book”
“Some greenery along from the canal. There's a nice space to sit and relax and escape from it all.”
“If you like Portuguese treats, this is a must. Affordable yet delicious pastries are prepared freshly everyday. Perfect for a Sunday or Saturday morning. ”
“Pan-Asian restaurant/cocktail bar for brunch, tempura and sushi, with counter seats in the window.”
