This picturesque, but ultra-challenging course (designed by Pete Dye) is nestled up right against the mountains – make a side bet with your group for the first person to spot a bighorn sheep!

Another Pete Dye designed course. This one is nestled at the base of the Santa Rosa mountains and is tamer than the Stadium Course. It is one of my all-time favorite courses due to its routing alongside the mountains. Make sure you bring your camera, you’ll want to take a picture from the 16th tee.

The MD Grill is located in the clubhouse of the La Quinta Resort Mountain Course. Located 3mi away, great for breakfast or lunch, overlooking the course. Tell the guard you are eating at the club.
