“The last port of eastern Mani as we descend to Cape Tainaro. It is located in a small and enclosed bay, a little further south of Achilleion.From there in 30 minutes walking distance you can reach at the lighthouse in Tainaro (kavo Matapas). The lighthouse was constructed by the French in 1882.”
