Capilano Park is located on the south side of the North Saskatchewan River at the end of 50 Street. Its year-round amenities make it an ideal destination for users including snowshoeing and cross-country ski trails in the winter and a dock along with a hand and boat launch in the summer. There is also a designated off-leash trail and a picnic site that can be booked in advance.

Tucked away just beyond downtown, Capilano Park has great trails to explore, a boat launch, picnic sites, bridges linking to the other side of the river, spectacular views and right next door is Gold Bar Park.
