A great beach just 25 mins drive from Inverness. The beach stretches from Rosemarkie around to Chanonry Point. The beach closer to Rosemarkie is a reasonably safe beach compared to Nairn/Lossiemouth. It's also popular with open water swimmers and paddleboarders. *further along at Chanonry - swimming/letting dogs in for a paddle is not advised as the hidden current can pull you further offshore. It can also be seen as dolphin disturbance*.

Beautiful sandy beach, opposite the historic Fort George across the Firth

The beach cafe has a perfect spot right in the beach. Lovely food, good ice cream and lovely people. Outdoor seating with beautiful views. There is an enclosed children's playpark. Tennis courts, and a large football field.

Fantastic caves full of things to discover while looking at the rock formations walk along the beach and enjoy the scenic nature and beauty of the bay

Walk to the cave, scramble over rocks and visit the beach cafe for a cuppa and cake. Extend your walk to take in the fairy glen.
