One of the best places for brunch in the mission, their egg Benedict's are amazing. overall it's got a lovely brunch vibe. lines can be long. recommend grabbing coffee and walking to Dolores Park after the brunch.
So sadly recently closed! :( 3 minutes walk. Fresh pastries and coffee (pastries are made on-site daily) and available for dine-in or carry-out .
“Another excellent coffee shop. The home coffee brewing class ($35) is interesting and fun.”
“Little Star Pizza specialises in gourmet, Chicago-style deep dish and thin crust pizzas with signature cornmeal crust. They use quality, responsibly-sourced food and non-GMO ingredients. ”
“Stop by here on your way to and back from Dolores Park for some of the best ice cream this city has to offer. Try the Salted Caramel!”
“Millennials love to stand in lines. Go mid-morning on weekdays to avoid long lines. But, the food is well worth it! Riches beyond your wildest dreams: butter-golden pains au chocolat, cappuccinos with ferns drawn in dense foam and croque monsieurs turbo-loaded with ham, two kinds of cheese and béchamel. Don't be dismayed by the inevitable line out the door – it moves fast – but be aware that lolling in Dolores Park is the only possible post-Tartine activity.”
“Beer enthusiasts - look no further! Monk’s Kettle is a bar and restaurant that is serious about it’s beer. A multipage beer menu awaits, and the fresh Bavarian pretzels are tasty. 3141 16th Street. ”
