It’s in trendy Hackney, heated, and open all year until 9 pm—no wonder this 50m pool wonder is so popular. Queues can stretch round the block in summer. The pool itself is a glory in any season, but for me it has a special magic on floodlit winter nights, when steam rises off the water into the darkness. The pool is an outdoor swimming success story. It was saved from demolition by a dedicated 18-year campaign and reopened in 2006. There’s a café, with more reasonable prices than many others in the area, and a large sunbathing area too.
One of the most happening parks in London and one of the only places you can BBQ in the park. It's very social in summer and has a great, young atmosphere, especially on the weekends
Open air lido swimming pool, tennis, gastropub and music. A must after having spent time in Broadway market.
Beautiful park. Great place to hang out with friends on the weekends, or even a sunny evening midweek.
Fantastic and Respectful Dog Walkers, family friendly, students. A real cosmopolitan rich area.
“Market on Saturdays, lovely to visit the market and go for a nice stroll in the park afterwards.”
“Really good cinema with local feel. Great bar and cafe too. Book online before you go. You can get her eby taking the W15 bus”
“The best for morning coffee and your choice of loaf...and only 1 minute away from the flat”
“Nice shops, cafes.... flowers, obviously. Also worth visiting to see some typical cockney bartering. Don't stand around taking photos for too long though, the stall operators will tell you to "piss off" if you get in the way of their customers. Go early. It gets busy!”
“伦敦维多利亚公园（London Victoria Park）于1845年向公众开放，占地面积为86.18公顷，是伦敦最重要的、最古老的公共公园之一。 伦敦维多利亚公园是形形色色的政治会议和集会的中心，它在这方面的重要性甚至超过了比较著名的海德公园（ Hyde Park）。此外，该公园也常被用作演唱会场地和球赛场地，每年会举办众多活动，是人们进行休闲、体育、娱乐活动的绝佳场所。”
