This is a GEM! Non-touristy, NEW and very good food. Attentive staff because they only just opened and want everyone to return. Tables and a bar area. Biggest draw back- a little loud. $20 plates- cheaper than Boston itself, but more expensive than say other Chelsea haunts like the Dockside.
“Great beer from a small local company. Enjoy a beer and some Jenga, then head over to Ciao Pizza and Pasta right down the street. ”
“Scratch kitchen serving wide array of upscale-casual cuisines & cocktails with seasonal patio.”
“Well- not brews, but great spirits! The place is new and "members" get early release buy options on limited run makes of spirits if a member of the community sourced alcohol. I am a member, so you can tell them William Sharp sent you. ”
“East Boston is a diverse residential area known for waterfront spaces like LoPresti and Piers parks, both overlooking the harbor, and sandy Constitution Beach. Hip Boston Harbor Shipyard is home to the ICA Watershed, a summer-only contemporary art gallery, plus outdoor sculptures and a cidery. A laid-back dining scene encompasses pizza and pasta spots, plus traditional Central and South American restaurants.”
“Well- don't go to the home, but across the street is the Madonna Queen of the Universe Shrine. Don't go on Sundays as there are masses in the morning, but any other time is great - the views are wonderful from behind Madonna- looking over the airport you can see the whole of Boston. The church is below and built into the hill (the area in Eastie- aka East Boston, is called Orient Heights). I recommend any denomination visit the church- it has some interesting art. ”
