If you haven't heard of it, google the history, the wild nights, recording studios and paparazzi escapes that make this hotel famous. For a classy first date, the outdoor seating area is as magnificent as the indoor bar and lounge. This place leaves a lasting impression. Enjoy the Hollywood scene, but don't snap too many photos...someone may ask you to put your phone away.
Lodging with Old Hollywood glamour, plus a pool, an intimate restaurant & an elegant cocktail bar.
Love the restaurant and patio at Chateau Marmont. Reservations are a must, but the ambiance is lovely. No pictures allowed.
Make a reservation and check out the beautiful Chateau Marmont! Charlie Chaplin played the piano here and Judie Garland is famous for laying on top of it and singing! So much history, its a Hollywood staple.

Some of the best celebrity sightings in LA happen at the bar at the Chateau Marmont hotel!
Classic Hollywood glamour hotel and restaurant...this is where you’ll find celebrities - if you can get in. Make a reservation for dinner - but do it weeks ahead.
Our favorite restaurant in LA, and a great place to star watch at lunch, is the Restaurant at the Chateau Marmont, not to be confused from the very cool Bar Marmont down the street. Make reservations in advance, no photography is allowed, and keep your eyes out for stars.
It's very much a hollywood institution. Great bar and also a great place for a brunch outdoors.
“Get a drink in the afternoon or evening at this fancy hotel, you will probably see a celebrity or someone who wants to be one.”
“Just down the block, a wonderful gym with reasonable day rates and great classes.”
“Looking for a laugh? Some of the most iconic comedians perform on a nightly basis. Super fun date night!”
“You can walk here. Lots of screenwriters come here. Great coffee and tea and yogurt. You can eat outside. Free parking for 1 hour. And you can walk here easily.”
“Just two blocks from Hollywood Boulevard, Runyon Canyon Park is an often overlooked urban park that offers some great views. Atop the canyon, you can glimpse views of the San Fernando Valley and the Pacific Ocean, as well as the Hollywood Sign and Giffith Observatory. The park also boasts several hiking trails and is a popular spot for celebrities to exercise. Travelers say that the canyon is reminiscent of Old Hollywood with several old mansions and estates scattered throughout the park – keep your eyes peeled as you follow the trail. ”
