The city's namesake, Mount Royal is in the center of town and is full of surprises. For culture and music in the summer, head to tam-tams every Sunday (the world's largest unorganized weekly gathering). Ski, skate or snowshoe in the winter, mountain bike and hike in the summer. Watch the leaves grow and change color in between!

Every sunday of the summer, come for Tam-Tams, a weekly gathering of the funkiest of montreal's residents. To the sound of drums and whatever else people feel like playing, come relax on the grass.

The famous "mountain" aka Montreal's own central park. Very nice walks and points of views. Ice skating at "lac des castors" in the winter and chilling with a book and a picnic in the summer. Pretty touristy
