This natural wonder national park is home to hundreds of different vegetation and wild animals, some of which are endemic. Hundreds of years of olive, oak, sycamore and pine trees are the silent witnesses of history in the area, which is accepted as a "flora biogenetic reserve area" by the Council of Europe, as it is the important and only point where plant species naturally coexist in Anatolia from the Mediterranean to the Black Sea. This is a corner of paradise that embraces us with all its historical and natural beauties in the Aegean. Dilek Peninsula, which is one of the most important tourism centers in Aydın, has found its place at the foot of Dilek Mountain. In the region with an area of 27,675 hectares, 10,985 hectares have been declared as Dilek Peninsula National Park since 1966. When you look at the sea, you can easily see Samos, one of the Greek Islands, across from it. Paleozoic schist, Mesozoic limestones and neogene sedimentary blunt basic geological structure. There are many hills, valleys and canyons in the peninsula. Dilek Hill, named after the national park, is 650 meters high. It has won the admiration of its guests with its attractive beaches with sandy, clayey and high coasts.
