Beautiful cove, dogs allowed. Pub close by, get there early to park.

This is the main beach in St Agnes, lots of places to grab food and drink nearby. There are 2 car parks, be sure to download the “JustPark” app before you leave in case you don’t have cash on you when parking- the first car park on the left hand side as you drive down Quay Road will allow you to use this app.

Hire a paddle board, take a guided kayak tour, surf or sit back with an ice cream (or a G&T on the balcony) and watch the kids in the rock pools and the lifeboat launch from the slipway below. Swimming best at mid or low tide.

Most local beach, backed by rugged cliffs and great for surfing. Dog friendly all year round.

The beach is about 15 mins walk (10 mins there and 20 back because of the hill!). There are life guards from early May to the end of September. There are plenty of places to eat, get ice creams and drinks close to the beach. There are two carparks (both charge) if you are taking wetsuits and beach equipment. Dogs are allowed all year on leads. I would recommend going down near low tide if you can; at that time there is more beach and all the rock pools and caves are accessible. If the tide is low you can often walk round to Trevellas Porth – but do keep an eye on the tide! You can walk back to the cottage from Trevellas Porth over-land making a nice circular walk.
