Should check to see if there are tours being given there by going to pentagontours.osd.mil There is shopping inside the building and restaurants and shopping at nearby Pentagon City.
There are several memorials around the Pentagon including the Airforce Memorial and the 9-11 Memorial at the Pentagon
You can pull into the parking lot to see this giant structure which heads our nation's defense efforts. There is also a 9/11 memorial, which is very special.
“(2 miles) Watch the changing of the guard before the soldiers known but to God. Reflect at President John and brother Bobby Kennedys’ resting place and ponder what could have been. See the brave who died in battle for the concept of America, especially Private Felix P. Longoria of 3 Rivers, Texas which refused to bury him because he was Mexican-American. During WWII, the first civil rights march ensued, Senator Lyndon B. Johnson intervened to give him a proper hero’s burial at Arlington National Cemetery, and Latinos coalesced to form the National GI Forum. Even though Latinos defend the US in wars more than any other group and are awarded more Medals of Honor, the concept of America has eluded many when they return home. ”
“Fast-food chain serving chicken sandwiches, strips & nuggets along with salads & sides. 2200 Crystal Dr Ste G”
“Specializing in upmarket seafood, this contemporary chain also serves steaks & cocktails.”
“El Charrito Caminante (.8 mile) This Salvadoran family makes some of the best Mexican tacos around of beef, chicken, tongue & sometimes goat. I crave the plátanos y frijoles appetizer. Their vegan burritos are filling. Very cheap for Arlington prices. There is not really a place to sit and eat. ”
