Bindaas means independent, cool, and carefree. The menu here, crafted by the James Beard award winning chef Vikram Sundaram (of Rasika) takes a creative approach to Indian street food. Golgappa is made with avocado, sweet yogurt, and tamarind chutney, while naan comes in flavors like olive oil, spinach paneer, and bacon cheese chili. Traditional dishes from various regions of India are featured, and wine pairings are offered upon request.
Possibly the best fusion Indian/middle eastern food in DC. Vegetarian option. Good selection of wine. Stylish. Atmospheric.
