“ One of the most fun bars. Locals and tourist go. It’s one of the oldest in the quarter at the very end of Bourbon street. The purple drink is surprisingly good and is sure to help you catch a buzz and sing along to the piano player!”
“One of the oldest, most well known restaurants. Friday lunch is a local favorite but any day and time will be fun. It is super old school. Plan on wining and dining and enjoying yourself with no rush. Coats are required for men and no jeans. They don't take reservations for the main dining room but there is a bar if you have to wait. ”
“Beautiful and classic. Great cocktails and lively. Must get the World famous Bananas Foster!”
“Named after what many consider to be the world's first mixed drink, The Sazerac Bar carries with it as much history and lore as its potable namesake. Just gazing at the famous Paul Ninas murals that flank the long African walnut bar takes you back to the grandeur of old New Orleans"”a time when Huey P. Long would stroll in, order a Ramos Gin Fizz and spend the next couple hours talking to his constituents. Restored to reflect the spirit of the original establishment, the elegant barstools and plush banquettes of today's Sazerac Bar invites locals and visitors alike for well-crafted drinks and free-flowing conversation.”
