Seomyeon 1st Street is commonly referred to as the 420m-wide section of the cross-section road to Jungang-ro (gold) Geumgang-hwa, Green Street, and Bujeon Bokgaecheon Stream, and to the (old) Mariposa Range and LG Electronics Surfaces service center. It was in 1990 when the commercial district's prosperity association named it to highlight its symbolism. Now, with theaters, liquor stores and cafes concentrated on the streets centered on Judith Taehwa, the shopping district is relatively more developed, but in the past, the street on 1st Street was much more famous.
