I've been hiking Kanarraville Falls since I was a little girl. Gorgeous day hike, through a stream. Rock water slides for kids. Plan ahead, get a permit. Wear good shoes that can get wet. Take snacks and a towel.
One of my favorite hikes! So beautiful! This takes all day so make sure to pack a lunch!
Let's go!!! Beautiful waterfalls and river runs with moderate hiking. PERMIT REQUIRED See website. Usually three day advance.
“Continue up Cedar Mountain for a nice evening drive and enjoy Milts Stage Stop! This steak house sits in the mountain surroundings where its not uncommon to see the friendly deer come close to the back setting of the restaurant. Many options for dinner! Start off with a salad bar & appetizers. Choices of Steak, Ham dinner, Jumbo Shrimp, and Lobster are on your menu. Desserts are a must!”
“Cedar Breaks National Monument is the most overlooked jewel on top of our mountain. Just a couple miles beyond Brian Head Ski resort will put you on the rim of some of the most beautiful vistas North America has to offer. Just over the hill from that is our little Duck Creek Village.”
“Natural passageway that was once used as a major thoroughfare by ancient people. The different cultures are evident by the hundreds of petroglyphs carved into Parowan gap. ”
“Disc Golf, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Camping, and climbing....this place is our local gem. ”
“Love the forest and there is great fishing at Duck Creek and the small lakes and streams around there. The colored leaves in the Fall are just Beautiful and the snow is spectacular. Many people love to snowmobile and ski in the meadows around there. There are some snowmobile rentals in Duck Creek Village. In Summer the forest is a great place to beat the heat. Good place to have picnics and to look at the wildlife.”
