This lovely place is fit for relaxed drinks or coffee on weekdays, and dancing on weekends (after midnight). It's also North Europas oldest cinnema, and shows some movies through the week. If the weather is nice you can sit outside in daytime or maybe get some midnight sun shining on you (ca 02.00)
Verdensteateret is one of the best bars in Tromsø. But - don't expect cheep beer in Tromsø, it's quite expensive everywhere.
Nice bar with art cinema. Opened in 1916 and is the second oldest cinema in Northern-Europe still in operation. Cheaper beer on Thursday evenings.
En kjempefin bar tilknyttet Nord-Europas eldste kino,- et sted å dra på kino til og hygge seg med en kopp kaffe eller vin. God vinylmusikk og DJ-set om kveldene. Trivelige folk og staselig plass.
“Take the cable car or walk up 'sherpa' stairs all the way up (about 25 min) for stunning view of the city and it's fraims of mountains. Perfect for spotting midnight sun in spring/summer and aurora in winter. Fjellstua is a cafe, so you can enjoy a ok lunch/dinner with the wiew. Also you can walk further to 'Fløya', a mountain ca 600 meters above sealevel. The cable car takes you over the steepest part, to 350 meters above sealevel. From fjellstua its a easy ca. 30 minute walk. ”
“This mountain is ideal for hiking both summer and winter. It is located 20 min from the city center of Tromsø. In the summertime, the walk to the top takes around two hours. Beautiful view in all directions at the top. ”
“My definite favorite sushi place! A small and cozy restaurant that specializes on sushi and vietnamese food. Started by the original Rå sushi chef, the quality is sublime. And their prices are deciderable lower than Rå. Also my husbands goto takeaway food(Hot curry chicken especially). ”
“Student house with concerts, music festivals, DJs and night club when there is nothing else happening. Take your ID.”
