“Tad's is located right next to the Sandy River, the view and atmosphere is wonderful. The food is made fresh, from scratch, and there is both comfort food and healthy options on the menu. Tad's has been a family run business, in the current location, since the 1940s.”
“During the spring and summer months, this is a spectacular place to visit. So many roses and unparalleled views of the city. Bring a picnic lunch and stay all day!”
“A flagship pilgrimage site for bibliophiles. There are several locations around Portland, but none of them as impressive as the Burnside location. We could spend hours in the aisles of this book store. Such a fun place to visit. ”
“The Portland Art Museum was founded in 1892 and is the seventh oldest museum in the country. The museum has become famous around the world because of its permanent collection that has more than 42,000 pieces in it. For history buffs there are plenty of historic art pieces on display. There are many pieces that have been collected from the native people of North America as well as a large collection of English silver. The campus that the museum sits on also has the Jubitz Center for Modern and Contemporary Art which is well worth taking a look at.”
