Great for biking, long walks, and viewing the Potomac River. Take a break from site seeing and sit on a bench in beautiful Haines Point park. It even has miniature golf for couples or kiddos.

gorgeous year round but especially during cherry blossom season (March-April). You can jog the entire perimeter of the island (3+ miles) and at the southern tip there are playgrounds and picnic tables. Good place to relax, play, and fish.
