One of the best "cheap eats" in the city. They only have one dish on the menu, but it's good! This is the place to go for roasted chicken, fries, and salad.
Located in the old town, specialized in chicken (but has some vegetarian options too), cosy, tasty and not expensive ;-)
Roast chicken is a local specialty. You won't go hungry or break the bank at this delicious haunt known to locals
Because it's open 7/7 non stop from 11 to midnight, extremely rare in Geneva! and it's the best place to get a consistently tasty rotisserie chicken or a good salad for a great price, in a friendly atmosphere. It's also in the old town, convenient and scenic.
Chicken and baked potato and salad, one of the best chicken in town. also at a very reasonable price
“Yummy food buffet on the last floor of the shopping centre. Plenty of choice and mostly locally sourced food. Delicious.”
“One of the best coffees and only local chain in town (there are 4 boreal coffee shops in total) ”
“The best chocolates in town. Ask for their speciality: Princesse Almond. Roasted almonds, caramelised, coated with milk couverture and dipped in cocoa powder. They are so good.”
“Promenade des Bastion is about 10min walk and has a playground, chess boards, restaurant, etc. If you’re here over December-January definitely head to Bastion for the amazing Christmas market and ice skating rink!”
“One of the most popular spots in Geneva is the Bains des Pâquis, an artificial peninsula surrounded by a lively beach that jets into the lake near Pâquis district (Rive Droite). It’s scenery is unmistakable due to the lighthouse at the end. Beach, which is very popular during hot summer days, has more than sufficient room to lie down and sunbathe, as well as easy access to the water. A magnificent view over the lake and the Jet d’Eau makes it a must place to visit. Paquis baths (Bains des Pâquis) are essentially two saunas, hammam and turkish baths; together with restaurant providing great spot for rejuvenation.”
