the most classic of classic ice cream shops. NOTE: closes at 8:30pm, so this is a daytime spot (Mexicans don't eat ice cream at night for some reason!)

This classic place in Condesa serves ice-cream since 1946. The one you find in "Fernando Montes de Oca" corner "Mazatlan" is the original establishment, but you can find other subsidiaries in the city too. Try some flavors you'll probably only find in Mexico, like Zapote or Chico Zapote.
