Sleek coffeehouse and lounge serving American bistro fare, milkshakes & specialty cocktails. Great for brunch.
Located just down Monroe Street, I’m at The Coupe at least once a week! They do coffee and pastries to-go ($3-$5), as well as sit down breakfast ($15pp), lunch, and dinner. It’s pretty big so there isn’t usually a wait (Sometimes for brunch), and very reasonably priced. Definitely worth checking…
Great breakfast joint with full bar and brunch options. The owners of this spot also own restaurants in Adams Morgan (The Diner & Tryst). Great for the whole fam.
“New beer pub within walking distance! Get variety on tap, and good pub food. ”
“If you want to grab a casual pizza and beer, Red Rocks at the corner of 11th and Park is hard to beat!”
“New York vibe with DC friendly service. Excellent and reasonably priced cocktails and a small but well-curated list of shared plates. This place gets a lot of local hype as a first date spot (which is a bonus for people watching if you’re not on a first date...).”
“Get the huaraches happy hour special or a mezcal tasting flight at any time! The freshly made guacamole is excellent. ”
“Just across the street, Wonderland has great bar food, a lively patio, and entertainment many nights of the week (such as free open mic comedy). Try the breakfast burrito for brunch or the southern fried chicken sandwich and eggplant fries for dinner - and bring your appetite!”
