A pasta and cheese haven, this quaint place is off a side street but has the lively local pulse of Darlinghurst. You can't book in advance- turn up at the door and they'll put your name on the list. The usual waiting time ranges from ½ an hour to an hour and ½ giving you a perfect chance to test out some of the local bars. Must try: The Cacio e Pepe is phenomenal- served is a cheese wheel and spun at the table.

You an get hearty pastas or small plates. It's a hip place to be seen but also full of locals - my mother used to live a few doors down so we were there once or twice a week. Get there early on busy nights.

Amazing and simple italian food, one of our favorites in the area. Try the Scamorza cheese with any side and of course their Cacio e Pepe. They do not take reservations but it is worth the wait.
