Bondi to Coogee walk
One of the nicest cliff-top coastal walks you’ll ever enjoy, it’s the first thing I get visiting friends and family to do when they arrive in Sydney. It’s about 6 km from Coogee to Bondi, and you can stop along the way at various beaches and coves for a swim. Know that it’s particularly busy when the Sculpture by the Sea event is on in October/November. If you’re driving, park in Coogee because spots there are easier to find than in Bondi. I always walk from Coogee to Bondi and back again (about 12 km), early in the morning, before the crowds form, then go for breakfast. Try Coogee Pavilion for good coffee with a water view.
A beautiful coastal walk experiencing some of Sydney’s most beautiful beaches.
One of the most iconic walks in Sydney. There are a thousand and one things to do on this walk. I would highly recommend eating at the local cafes in Bronte on this walk, as they are less busy than Bondi. If you want to stop in for a drink, I would recommend Bondi Hotel!
A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels or restaurants. You can…
Great views and a great way to see multiple beaches that Sydney has to offer. Sculptures by the sea from mid-Oct to early-November are interesting, but draw more crowds to an already busy experience.
If you agree feeling energetic and have some time, this walk from Bondi Beach to Coogee beach is a lovely coastal walk. You will pass many smaller beaches; Bronte, Gordon’s Bay, Clovelly (really great for snorkelling) and end up at the wonderful Coogee beach. Take sunscreen and comfortable shoes…
