Beautiful white sandy beach with fabulous sea views. Great spot for walking along the beach or simply taking some time out. Mainly used by locals so is much more private than most.
“If you fancy a trip into the city take the DART (local train) just a 25 minute journey ,a return ticket is around €6 to get there you can walk through Malahide Castle to the Station takes about 20 minutes or if you prefer drive and park in the station its €4.50 for all day parking”
“Swords Castle is free and it was only recently opened to the public in 2015. The castle's chapel dates back to the 12th century.”
“If you have extra time take the train (Dart) to Howth Village outside city , buy Fish & Chips for lunch, walk up the hill for view of Irelands Eye Island., walk the east pier and listen to the busker.”
“Howth is iconic and very much a tourist hotspot. It's perfect to visit on warm, sunny days which are few and far between in Ireland! I recommend it for cute cafés, chippers and pubs. You can also relax and take in the beautiful scenery of the harbour and marina. Plus, my family originates from Howth so I feel a strong connection to it.”
