Lots of eateries, night markets are held every Friday evening from 5pm to 9pm, Saturday morning 10am to 9pm, and all day Sunday from 9am to 4pm. There is a man made sandy beaches, lots of picnic bbq places. As you keep walking there's also the Brisbane Botanic garden by the river walk.

A great day out is just down the road! South Bank has lovely parklands, walking tracks and even a beach for swimming or catching some sun. Excellent for kids, picnicking, exercise, or checking out a movie at the cinema (the biggest screen in Brisbane!).

Southbank has a beach area which is great for swimming in summer. It is also a lovely walk along the river. You will also find some other attractions in this area including the museum, the Wheel of Brisbane, fantastic restaurants and places to have a drive.

Relax on the paradise beach without leaving the city. Have lunch at the many bars and restaurants nearby.
