Drive into the park and spot the famous wild horses, black bulls and flamingoes which live there.
Camargue is very unique in France. It's flooded most of the year and welcome pink flamingos and wild bulls.
Had a really great visit. If you like white semi wild horses and flamingos, you should definitely stay over here for at least one night. Take a guided horse back riding tour and experience the flat landscape of Camargue. Just stunning.
“This is a personal favorite. This is at a walking distance and is perfect for a hike. You are able to walk all the way to the top where the metal tower is. With all the plants around like Rosemarie, thyme it makes you smell amazing. The breeze allows you to relax and enjoy the truly amazing view. Don’t forget to bring comfortable walking shoes. “Picasso loved Arles. His passion for bullfighting will make him become friends with photographer Lucien Clergue, and then with the young curator of the Réattu Museum, Jean-Maurice Rouquette. In 1957, Picasso was invited to exhibit about sixty drawings, which he donated to the museum in 1971, in addition to the Portrait of Lee Miller in Arles (1937), painted just after Guernica. Augmented with engravings, archives, photographs and posters, the whole is called The Picasso of Arles.”
