Well deserved titles. The village is nestled between the dazzling cliffs of the Val de Gellone. When the night falls and when the evening sun touches the rock bringing golden shades to the abbey, the village is at its best.

Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert is one of the Plus Beaux Villages de France, and the Abbey of Gellone, along with the nearby Pont du Diable were designated UNESCO World Heritages sites.

One of Frances most beautiful villages. Take a picnic lunch and swim in the river after visiting. Many restaurants and craft shops in the village. Well worth the drive!
