Some of the best sushi in Los Angeles. They don't take reservations but they're only 1 block away. Stop by 1-2 hours in advance to put your name down.
Featuring a pre fixed and a la carte menu- order the “trust me” or the “trust me lite” if you’re not so hungry. No frills, no substitutions. You will not be disappointed. One of our favorite sushi spots on the westside.
“Seaonal food - Plenty of Vegetarian and Gluten Free food on Menu. Delicious fish too. Located at the begining of 3rd. street mall”
“Wait times can be long. So head down to the area early and put your name down. There is limited outdoor seating but it’s good for people watching. Be wary of their upstairs seating as some of the two tops are crammed into a corner. ”
“It’s a small speak easy like environment. Drinks can run expensive but it’s one of the more relaxed bars in Santa Monica. ”
“My other favorite Santa Monica restaurant (along with Cassia). Tremendous food and atmosphere! Most things are cooked in a wood fired oven and they use different flavors of wood on different nights, so even the standbys change slightly from night to night. Highlights include the peas, carrots, and the ricotta gnocchi. ”
“The fancy burger that changed fancy burgers forever “But,” you may argue, “the Father’s Office burger was the best burger in LA, like, 10 years ago, grandpa?” OK, that’s true. But knocking the FO burger is sort of like knocking Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band: without it, all the greatness that came afterwards would never be able to exist. And it still tastes (and sounds) pretty great.”
