Union Publick's kitchen is run by 14 Acre Farm, which is one of the most prominent organic farms in the area. All their food is made fresh and has a foodie flare. It's not fussy but it's way better than your typical bar food. Expect unique specials, fresh veggies, and really well cooked juicy meats. It's my favorite local restaurant. This place has one of the best beer selections available in the area. The taps are always rotated with new selections and the bottle/can selection constantly changes. Also has a full bar. Smoking allowed 9pm - 2 am.

Advertised as "the only dive bar in Jim Thorpe" - they have good food and drinks and on the same block as our guesthouse. Note: cash only (ATM inside)

A 5 minute drive from your stay. Great local vibes and grub with an incredible beer list!

It's just a very short drive (5 minutes) but it's where the locals go - and for good reason! Known as the "5-star Dive Bar", it doesn't have much for atmosphere. Great service, consistently awesome cheap and delicious food and drinks. CASH ONLY!
