“Really good food at this relative new-comer to Marquette, owned by a couple great guys and friends of Melissa's. We’ve been a few times now, and it never disappoints. Seasonally driven, farm to table, locally oriented gastro-pub.”
“Historic, family-owned soda fountain, handmade chocolates, best milkshakes in town. Delicious breakfast and lunch menus. Awesome service. Even President Obama made this his stop while visiting Marquette.”
“Local bookstore with incredible character. They have a large selection of new and used books, with a great section on the history of Marquette and the UP. Local authors noted as well. We spend hours here each time we're in town.”
“Down Wind Sports is a firm believer in the concept of "try before you buy"! A perfect way to find out if you like an activity or a particular piece of equipment is to participate in our rental program. The following is a list of equipment that we have available to rent through our Marquette and Houghton stores. Ice climbing boots and crampons, cross country skis, snowshoes, mountain bikes and goat/canoe rentals. A one time rental fee can be applied to the purchase of any new purchase that was rented.”
