In what is now the town of Pacific Palisades, Rogers built his ranch, where he lived with his wife Betty and their three children, Will Jr., Mary and James. The 31-room ranch house, which includes 11 baths and seven fireplaces, is surrounded by a stable, corrals, riding ring, roping arena, golf…
A beautiful hike that is near the beach. You can also check out the equestrian center. Not too hard for kids but you will get some exercise. Take water and snacks because there isn't much close by.
Easy hiking trails with 360 degree views at the top. There is a polo field and a historic ranch house.
“10 minutes away, this museums offer a very nice facility, a great coffee shop and an amazing gift shop. You will usually find temporary exhibits of current -often conceptual- art. Half of the time you leave the place scratching your head wondering what it all means but, it's sooo convenient, and free:)”
“We love to shop and eat or just have a coffee at this place in Brentwood. Good spot for celebrity sightings.”
“Free! Just pay for parking. Majestic hilltop buildings, the art is Ok, the traveling collections can be great, but the real attraction is the space and gardens themselves. Must not miss!”
“Our Local Public transportation is quite nice. You can walk 1 Block to OceanPark Boulevard and catch the #8 or walk 1 Block to Main Street and catch the # 1”
“Free to enter, pay to park, or free if you have already paid to park at “The Getty” in same day visit. This is a much smaller museum but overlooks Malibu Beach, great location and great historical monuments.”
