Emily Murphy Park
This is one of my favourite parks in Edmonton. There are many spots to have a picnic, or access all of the miles of river valley trails.
Great little park with trails that connect to the river valley and lots of BBQ spots.
Emily Murphy Park is on the south bank of the North Saskatchewan River, and carries the name of a well known women’s rights activist. Located adjacent to Groat Road, it is nestled in the beautiful River Valley. Offers Picnic sites, Small craft boat launch, Playground, Walking and cycling trails,…
“The largest and most noteworthy park in Edmonton. This park will typically host all of the larger summer festivals. It's about a 10 - 15 min drive. ”
