Pak Kong is popular mainly with locals even though it is located in the tourist belt in the downtown core. Pak Kong has been around for over half a century.

The taste and texture of the chicken was on point, *thumps up*! I was very impressed with the char siew. It has a good balance of fats and lean meat, with crispy skin - absolutely amazing! The tauge was thick and juicy, while the 'choy geok' was very appetising with its spicy and sour kick. Both dishes complemented the meal very well. And of course, pair all these with a plate of oil rice and you are up for a satisfying meal! All in all, I highly recommend this place if you love chicken rice. I am sure you will want to come back for more! I didn't try their roasted chicken though as I personally prefer poached chicken over roasted chicken. I heard their roasted chicken is as good! Try it and let me know?
