Liberty Public Market
This place has a million (OK, maybe around 50) San Diego eateries, bakeries, butchers, bars and craft vendors. If you like fresh oysters, you must try the oyster bar at Fishbone Kitchen!
if you’re not sure what to eat this is the best spot. It’s an open air market with several food vendors that you walk up to and order. Diverse options and they’re all good!! Breweries and restaurants all around the area as well.
It is a treat just to walk through this historic market full of fun eateries, coffee shops, great variety of restaurants, stores and beautiful scenery in the Heart of Point Loma.
It's like a great food court! So many different vendors to try. Sit outside or inside. Walk the halls see all the different shops
“Some of the best wings I have ever had. They bake them / fry them / grill them... To perfection”
“This is a speakeasy. They have jazz music performances from local musicians. Check their website for more info, they close some nights...”
“Take the ferry from downtown across the water to Coronado. You can take a bike on the ferry. The ferry is a private company so is not included in the SD compass bus/trolley pass. $4.75 one way. Leaves about every half hour during the day. Two routes from downtown to Coronado, one about 5 minutes, one 15.”
