“Robberg Nature Reserve is just a few minutes drive from Bird Villa. There are picnic tables so even for the "non-hikers" there is a reason to go. Many of the longer trails are un-even and can be rocky/slippery so caution if you're planning a hike. This is a BIG draw to people and is worth a visit....for a several hour hike or even just a short stroll!”

“Awesome elephant park where you get to interact with the elephants and walk with them”
“It’s not often that us South Africans stumble across authentic Italian cuisine, so we’re always delighted to find a gem like Enrico’s that would make any Italian proud. With its mind-blowingly beautiful position and lip-smacking menu, Ristorante Enrico has the winning combination of delectable views and delicious food. Start with the anti pasti menu, consisting of Italian favourites such as insalata di mare, which includes prawns, mussels, a piece of linefish and calamari strips, or the more South African flavoured kudu and avocado dish. Fresh seafood is prepared with expert Italian flare, such as the kingklip fillet, with shrimp, caper and cream sauce. Veal is served with cream and a green peppercorn sauce, or more of a lemon and white wine sauce. Linefish is baked with olive oil, white wine, a touch of garlic and ‘lots of imagination’!”
“The Table has a ‘weigh and pay’ concept, with a bar and take-away section, and is child friendly. The perfect gathering space for the whole family or friends looking for a vibey dinner venue on the Garden Route, The Table leans towards Italian food, offering a fantastic selection of pizzas. The starter options kick off with haloumi and basil bruschetta, aubergine and mozzarella stack and venison carpaccio. Pastas include ricotta ravioli, creamy basil pesto, prawn and squid, anchovy, olives, capers and chilli and creamy country ham. Pizzas are deliciously decadent, with toppings such as bacon, creamed leeks and feta cheese, chourico, jalapeno, red pepper and goat's cheese or the prosciutto, fig and rocket. Delectable! End off with an Italian coffee and one of the dessert options from the enticing menu.”
