Founded in 1927, the Sacramento Zoo is home to nearly 500 animals representing species around the world. Their mission is to inspire appreciation, respect, and a connection with wildlife through education, recreation, and conservation.
We have a lovely zoo in land park. Great for kids and animal lovers of all ages.
What was once only a home to 40 different species at its opening June 2nd, 1927. Is now a home to 400 species of wildlife in 2018, for children and adults alike to enjoy themselves in our very own Sacramento Zoo!
