The Wallace Collection is a national museum in an historic London town house. In 25 galleries are unsurpassed displays of French 18th century painting, furniture and porcelain, Old Master paintings, sculpture and a world-class armoury.
A beautiful house full of 18th and 19th c. artwork. Entrance is free and they do excellent tours.
A real find in Marylebone. Recommend walking there. It takes 10-15 minutes on a direct path along by beautiful Georgian properties. Once there, it's a real find. Free to get in and with more curiosities, art and history than you knew existed
