Horseshoe Trout is a private recreational angling and picnic venue situated only 10km’s from Sabie Town centre on the Old Lydenburg road. The perfect place to introduce kids and beginners to the sport of fishing. A clean and well maintained venue with allocated picnic and braai areas, toilet facilities, rods for hire and a gutting & packing service. Trout are stocked into the dam at regular intervals, allowing a concentrated fish population and thus increasing the chance of catching. You will definitely catch trout. Affordable entrance fee & rod hire. What you catch, you buy. Staff will clean & vacume pack for you to take away for a small fee, or sites are available for hire if you wish to picnic or braai your trout there. Beautiful setting.
